Boxed Flowers

A native Australian themed flower box with bottlebrushes and traditional plants.Boxes are simply another way to store and display flowers. While generally not as flashy as other flower-displays, a box can be significantly cheaper and still have class.

They are also mobile, and easier to place. A flower box is a reliable holder of flowers and can be just as appealing and charming as a bouquet, vase or even a hanging arrangement.

Advantages of Flower Boxes

If you’re sending flowers to a loved one or friend, consider the following advantages and disadvantages of a flower box:

  • A fresh bouquet is arguably the ultimate floral presentation, however the recipient will have to find a place to store the flowers after. Do the job for them by delivering flowers in a box.
  • A flower box has solid dimensions with no gaps, and can therefore hold water and soil for flower longevity.
  • A box of flowers is easy to transport
  • They are much more simple to decorate, and involve no fancy handiwork of a bouquet or arrangement.

Ultimately, what the flowers are held in shouldn’t be given too much thought. Perhaps if you’ve always been a bouquet person, you can mix it up occasionally with something else. Otherwise, your main priority should be the flowers themselves, what they symbolise and what you want to convey to the person you’re sending them to.
