Freesia Flower
Freesia are a fragrant perennial flower named after the German physician Friedrich Heinrich Theodor Freese. Freesia, the loving and beautiful plant was originally discovered and cultivated in South Africa.
Freesia has a sweet and citrus aroma and these are the most liked and beautiful flowers all over the world. They have a great fragrance that appeals to everyone.
Although, there are various types of freesias but the most admired freesia varieties are named as Ballerina with their sinewy stems and slight blooms.

Growing and Gardening Freesia Flowers

When one notices the leaves become brown and the flowers have faded, the corms can be kept properly for next year. The leaves on freesia are in light green color and are of sword shaped and high up to 1 foot. The stalks of this species are slight and are of equal height. When the flowers start on blooming, Freesia flowers face upward because the stem makes a sharp curve.
When the flower eventually wilters, the corm may be stored somewhere dry and re-grown next season. Freesia plants are cultivated from a bulb. These Flowers are borne as movable one-sided spikes of barely cone and tool-shaped flowers along the minority leaves.
